Marriage

Your wedding ceremony is a very important part of your wedding day.

It is a day that you will remember for a lifetime and it is also a day that your family and friends will remember with fondness as a happy occasion full of love and sharing.

If this is so then you will need to have the professional and friendly support of your Marriage Celebrant.

I am a qualified Authorised Marriage Celebrant duly appointed under the Marriage Act 1961 and authorised to celebrate marriages in Australia.

Celebration of life - Funerals

Celebration of Life is part of us and we should see death as the natural part of this life that it is. Death is the great leveller, it comes to us all.

Grief is universal but the experience of this grief is unique to each one of us as is our loss.

As a Funeral Celebrant I ensure that the celebration of the life of your loved one is sincere, meaningful and performed with empathy, dignity & respect.

During this period of sadness and sense of loss you will find me an empathetic listener, compassionate and understanding ready to offer guidance and my full support to you and your family.

I offer:

  • Direct interview with the family
  • Invite you to share in the preparation of the ceremony
  • Create a draft of the ceremony
  • Prepare and deliver the Eulogy
  • Liaison with other speakers and offer assistance and guidance
  • Assist with the selection of poems, rituals, symbols
  • Prepare an outline of the ceremony
  • Music selection if required
  • Presentation of a copy of the ceremony

Let me conclude with:

"Just as a well spent day brings happy sleep, so a life well used brings a happy death"- Leonardo Da Vinci

Other Services

Commitment Ceremony

This is not a legal ceremony

There are times in one's life when for many reasons a declaration of love and commitment without the legality of marriage may be the only option either on a temporary or permanent basis.

I respect this ceremony in the same manner and offer the same service and support and procedure as that of a wedding ceremony but without the formal documentation.

Re-Affirmation of Vows

There are many reasons why you would choose to re-affirm your vows.

  • To Re-affirm your love and commitment to each other - the sentimental in you.
  • Choose a Special wedding anniversary to re-affirm your vows.
  • To share that important moment with family and friends you were unable to share with at the time of your marriage.
Again I offer my full support, respect and happy dignity to this celebration.

Naming Ceremonies

Let me quote:

Naming servies"The civil naming ceremony has been developed to respond to the cultural and community need to welcome a child into the family and the world, to remind all concerned of the great responsibility involved in bringing up a child, and to recognise and appoint those who will have an important role in the child's development" Dally Messenger - Ceremonies & Celebrations

  • One child - the new arrival or for a number of children in the family and enjoy a 'multiple' celebration.
  • The union of two families with step-children involved.
  • An adult who has chosen to formalise the change of their name.
  • An adult who is experiencing a particular life change and wishes to make a statement regarding their name (eg. Divorce - returning to maiden name)

I offer:

  • No need to follow a particular script or pattern
  • Create a meaningful, deeply rewarding ceremony
  • Draw on the rich diversity of cultural heritage that makes 'society' in Australia
  • Offer a choice of poetry, prose, ritual and symbol to enhance and beautify the ceremony
  • Importantly, encourage the family to consider and think of their own family traditions or create new ones, and the values and tributes they wish to include in the ceremony.

Same Sex Ceremonies

It is important to know that this is not a legal ceremony.

It is a ceremony between two same-sex partners in a loving relationship who want to formalise their commitment. The same service as for the Commitment Ceremony - see notes above

Additional Service

I am qualified to conduct all Ceremonies in English, English/Italian or Italian only.

Overseas Ceremonies

OverseasWhy not have and enjoy your Marriage Ceremony in Perth, or any other beautiful and exciting location in Western Australia.

Perth, Western Australia is a fantastic location for your Marriage Ceremony. You can arrive; have your Marriage Ceremony and your honeymoon in Perth, and then return home for your major reception with family and friends. Without me going into great details you can visit the Tourism WA website for fantastic information on Western Australia.

The documentation to be married in Perth Western Australia is not complicated, however, there are several legal aspects that need to be completed. I will be happy and very pleased to discuss and assist with any aspect of your Marriage Ceremony should you wish to get married in Perth.

Most of the arrangements can be made via email or phone calls pending your arrival. During my career in overseas recruitment I have established contact with local licensed migration agents who are qualified to answer all you questions on visa and migration.
